MoMA Hours

The Museum of Modern Arts is open round the week from 10.30 am to 5.30 pm, except for Saturdays, when the museum hours extend until 7 pm. 

The galleries close 15 minutes before the museum closes.

The museum is only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas. 

On weekends, from 9.30 am to 10.30 am, MoMA offers early entry to its members and their visitors.

Summit One Vanderbilt Hours

Summit One Vanderbilt generally opens at 9 am every day and closes at 10.30 pm.

MoMA is located at 11 W 53rd St, New York, NY 10019 and Summit is located at 45 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017, about 0.8 miles (1.29 km) apart.

Since both are located in the Manhattan area in New York, it is convenient to access from one point to another.

The best way to go from Summit to MoMA is by bus, numbers M1, M2, M5 and M7.

You can even take an 18 to 20-minute walk down the avenues of Manhattan to reach MoMA from Summit or vice versa.
